The very first story I remember imagining and telling was Tootsie & Footsie, which I have since turned into a book that can now be found in the shop of Imagine Stories.

It all started when I was 8 years old. My sister and I shared a room, and she would get really scared going to sleep at night. I started making up stories and fictional characters using my hands, feet, and other props to create theatrical, magical moments to put her at ease.

These characters became part of our lives growing up. When I saw that she had passed these stories & theatrics down to her children as well, I knew I had to bring it back. When did we become too busy to imagine?

Using characters, matching props, and your imagination can create not only safety but a way of communicating things that are otherwise hard to express.

This magic is its own language.

This book is the first story I ever told. The story of magic, love, and safety. I hope this is a reminder for you to create your own daily dose of Magic too...
